Post-disaster Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Research Group

Post-disaster Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Research Group was established in 2019. It aims to study the various dimensions of reconstruction and rehabilitation activities following a disaster to promote resilient communities.

The main research activities of this research group includes:
• Consulting and collaborating on planning the post-disaster reconstruction and rehabilitation activities in rural and urban settlements;
• Consulting and collaborating on reducing the economic, social, and environmental impacts of post-disaster reconstruction in rural and urban settlements;
• Documenting the process of post-disaster reconstruction and rehabilitation in the country;
• Preparing and developing strategic plans for post-disaster reconstruction in rural and urban communities; and
• Translating, compiling, writing, and publishing books related to post-disaster reconstruction.
